Borderline Personality Disorder

Course Description

When someone appears to intentionally behave in a way that makes us uncomfortable, angry or scared, it’s natural to assume that they are being malicious. People with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) are usually not acting out of malice. Behavior for a person with BPD is often driven by a whirlwind of intense emotions, and an inability to respond to them.

In this session we will introduce Borderline Personality Disorder and its impact. Through lecture, discussion and video we will also identify tools to use when responding to the chaos that often accompanies BPD.
